Ed: Lo que sea que provoca la acción. Es por tanto; pasivo.
Ejemplo: I am bored- Yo estoy aburrido

Ing: El sujeto es el que realiza la acción. Es por tanto; activo
Ejemplo: I am boring- Yo aburro

A gerund is the -ing form of a verb, but it's a noun. We can use gerunds after verbs that express likes and deslikes, e.g. like, love, hate, prefer, don't mind, enjoy.
I don't mind cooking, but I prefer washing the dishes.

When who or what is the object of a question, we use the auxiliary do. 
What does he want?
(What=object, he=subject)
Who did you see at he party?
(Who=object, you=subject)
When who or what is the subject of a question, we don't use the auxiliary do. 
What happened? (What= subject)
Who saw the film? (Who=  subject, the film= object)

El presente simple se usa para describir hábitos y referirnos a cosas que hacemos con regularidad. Suele ir acompañado de adverbios de frecuencia(usually, always, never,...) o de expresiones de tiempo del tipo every..., once/twice/three times a week, etc.
I usually have lunch at school/ I have lunch at school twice a week
El presente continuo hace referencia a cosas que están sucediendo mientras se habla. Suele ir acompañado de expresiones del tipo now, at the moment y today.
m having lunch now
El presente continuo también puede describir planes para un futuro inmediato. En este caso, suele ir acompañado de expresiones como tomorrow, tonight, this evening, next weekend, etc.
m having lunch at Pizza House tomorrow
